I just finished a profile for an amazing woman who is going to be a wonderful mom. After I completed the profile, I designed a matching blog background and created a custom blog/website for her adoption profile (you can check it out at http://sandisprofile.blogspot.com). Sandi will be able to email her blog to family and friends and network, it is a great way to get your name out and expand your reach beyond your adoption agency.
Website Changes and Congrats!

We have been slacking on our blog updates lately, mostly due to being hard at work on last minute Christmas Card orders. I hope you all enjoy your cards, I sent the last few orders off late last night. We have a few updates…
First we would like to congratulate S and C on being matched, it happened so fast we did not even have a chance to post a few of their pages on our blog first. We should have them up as an example on our website soon. 
Second I got the opportunity to design a wedding invitation for my brother and soon to be sister-in-law… Jess we cannot wait to have you in our family!

Third we have a couple new features on our website. We now have a cart in our galleries so if you see an announcement/card design you like you can add it to your cart, select the quantity and printing format, and checkout through PayPal. We also added an uploading feature so you can upload your photos to us with rather than emailing them. If you would like to order an adoption profile design, we prefer you email or phone us so we can answer all your questions and schedule your time.

I got a great opportunity a few weeks ago to actually meet with one of the couples I was designing an adoption profile for. It was a wonderful experience to get to meet face to face and get an even better understanding of who they where and how to best reflect their style and personalities in the profile. I got to meet with Kerrie again when I delivered the profiles to her and we were able to chat even more, and I am so glad to be able to call her a friend. I was beyond excited this evening when I received an email from her telling me she and Dave had been chosen by an expectant mom after only waiting two weeks!

We just finished binding these profiles and I am looking forward to delivering them this week. We matted the pages on two different high quality textured papers and bound them with ribbon, they came out absolutely beautiful. They are thick and sturdy, similar to a hard bound copy, yet they have the softness only a handmade touch can bring. Good luck on your adoption journey Dave and Kerrie, we can’t wait to hear your good news!!!
